1.  What exactly is it that you do to help people thrive?

Each case is unique, which is why we always begin with an assessment of where you are and where you want to go.  An important first step is for you to be able to articulate what it is that is really important to you and what you need happening in your life to live fully, with no regrets.  Once that is clear we can decide the best way to support you in expressing your authentic self so that you can achieve the results that are important to you in your business and personal life.  You can take a variety of assessments to better understand yourself, your strengths, your learning style, what really gives you juice, why you respond to people the way they do and a whole host of other bits and pieces of information about yourself that you can then use to alter what you do so that you can get more of the results that are really important to you.

You may chose to work in a one to one coaching relationship, become part of a ThriveSynergy Mastermind group, sign up for self-directed e-learning modules, take part in training in specific areas or have your work group work with us to improve day to day performance and productivity through a combination of training and coaching.

Bottom line?  We work with you to develop the most efficient solution to help you achieve what's important to you.  And if we can't provide it, we'll help you in the process of finding someone who can.

2.  You mentioned coaching - what do you mean by coaching?

You probably think of 'sports' coaching when you hear the term 'coaching', and there are similarities.  As in any sport, executive and business coaches provide ongoing support and encouragement for individuals, groups and organizations working towards specific goals.

Even the greats, like Tiger Woods and Wayne Gretsky, used a multitude of coaches to help them on their never ending quest for improved performance.  It's the same in your personal an business life.  Everybody, me included, has blind spots and hurdles to overcome if we are going to achieve all that we are fully capable of achieving.  A coach works with you to help your unique authentic potential emerge.  A coach is not your mother or father, not your best friend, and certainly not your manager.  You will have to do the work and you will have to be responsible to yourself for your results.  But if you are ready to accelerate your progress to the stars, a coach can certainly help you on your way.

3.  How does coaching differ from consulting?

While coaching is something that can be done by almost anybody, a manager, a leader, a business associate, a consultant, a professional executive and business coach differs in that we are there to support you in achieving what you want.  A consultant does the work and gives you recommendations about what you should do and how you should do it, however these are often more about the consultant than about you.  That may be one of the reasons so many consultants reports are never implemented, or fail.

Unlike a consultant, a coach is not going to give you all the answers and tell you what to do.  You have to find your own answers, the ones that are ideally suited to you and your situation.  When I coach you I have no pre-defined agenda, no list of things that must be done, no expectations of any specific outcomes, no set pre-determined goals that you must achieve.  As your coach I do not have the responsibility, accountability or authority to get you to do anything.  It is up to you and you alone if you will do the work required to achieve the results that you want.   If you ready, willing and able, I will support you in integrating what you know with who you are and what you want so that you can be all that you can truly be, thereby living life fully, with no regrets.

4.  What results can I expect?

If you are ready to do the work, you can expect to gain a great deal of clarity around what's really important to you, and begin the process of identifying the roadblocks that have kept you from achieving what you really want.  This is an ongoing process of self-discovery and you may discover some limitations that have been blind spots for you.  We will also identify your strengths and underlying motivators and work with them to leverage the results you want, making your limitations irrelevant.

If you are like most clients, you will find yourself getting more in flow, more confident and at ease in any situation.  You will find your performance improving and you will trust your decisions more, stopping the second guessing that may have slowed you down in the past.

You will feel more connected to yourself, other people and to something deeper, a purpose that gives your life more meaning.  You will be more clear on the direction you are moving, more focused, and you will find more passion around what you are doing.

And you'll discover way more fun and freedom than you ever thought possible - you'll be thriving!
